Young Goodman Brown

The mood in this writing, is very mysterious in my opinion. I think it's strange how Goodman Brown is a innocent man and really has no reason to go on this little journey, but ends up going. Part of this sort of confused me, but it was also strange that he was searching for evil or the devil, and as soon as he met the man with the walking stick, he was paranoid thinking everybody was the devil or had something bad about them.

The Conscience of a Hacker

I think this writing is very deep and detailed. The writer creates a very skeptic tone. For some reason, when I am reading this, I feel like the picture is in black and white and the setting is very creepy. I imagine a creepy, computer-hooked, person who is stuck in his room all day on his computer very angry at everything trying to hack a certain system.

ANCIENT STORIES

1. The animals in this story use deeper words and speak with more meaning than people today do. The conversations the animals are having are very different from conversations I would have with friends.

2. It is very important than the story is repeated word for word. Words can change the meaning very critically in a story where words are all that we get to listen to, or read. Sometimes the retelling can be distorted, and sometimes it can be enhanced depending on the words used.

3. confused on the directions

The Earth on Turtles Back

In " The Earth on Turtles Back " the writer is trying to explain 2 things: why the turtle has marks on it's shell, and how the Earth was made and got bigger and bigger. The muskrat having the most confidence, and the Turtle offering its shell to hold on to Earth, helped Earth grow and get bigger.

Welcome to my blog. 🤔 I can't think of anything to say
My thoughts on "Richard Cory".
I think it was strange that Richard Cory was so loved and seemed like he had such a perfect life but he ended up killing himself. I would like to know what was wrong and why did he shoot himself?
